Update invalid due to signature verification issue

I cannot install the update patch with number 082815 on the EViews8 SV due to signature verification issues. My PC runs Windows 10 64bit. Any ideas?

Let us take a look. We made need to post a new patch.

Sorry for the confusion. We hadn't released a new patch for EViews 8 SV in a long time and our certificate changed in between. I've modified our patch list to indicate the patch must be manually downloaded now.

If you run EV8SV again and try the update, it should inidicate this now and will offer to open the download link for you in a web browser. Click yes and the download will start. Once downloaded, start the patch manually -- remember to quit EViews 8 SV before running the patch.

Or you can go to our download page (http://www.eviews.com/download/download.html) and download the 8SV patch manually.

EViews asked for a manual installation of the patch now, which was installed properly.
