Hi,
we're considering installing 64-bit versions of MS Office on our computers. First I want to make sure this doesn't cause problems for our users. Some who use EViews together with Excel but also to import data from Macrobond, Factset, and Aremos Databanks.
Today we use:
Windows 7
EViews 8 32-bit, Aug 27 2013 build, Enterprise Edition
Macrobond 64-bit
FactSet 64-bit
MS Offoce 2010 32-bit
Is there any reason why we shouldn't use a 64-bit version of MS Office together with EViews?
I noticed that you in some cases has recommended users to install both the 32-bit and 64-bit versions of EViews. IS this still considered a good practice?
Is there any reason why we should keep the 32-bit version of EViews when we use a 64-bit version of MS Office?
Thank you
Eviews and MS Office 64-bit
