Connection to R no longer working

Using EViews version 10 or 11 (enterprise version).
On using the command xopen(r) or the command xopen(p) I now get the following error:


EViewsRConn.exe could not be found. You may need to
re-install EViews

COM Error 0x80004002: No such interface supported in
"XOPEN(TYPE=R)" on line 39.
