Re: EViews 13 / Bloomberg connection crashing

Can you email me directly at Jason@eviews.com? It would be quicker than posting on the forum.

For everyone else, I will post back when the problem is resolved.

Re: WFSave to Excel - Excel states "The input couldn't be recognized as a valid Excel document"

After further investigation it appears to be a fairly complicated data compression issue. The 'Get Data' Excel feature uses a different decompression algorithm than the File->Open method. We will however fix the issue in the future release of EViews 13. For EViews 12 and older, you will have to use ...

Re: WFSave to Excel - Excel states "The input couldn't be recognized as a valid Excel document"

Re: EViews Bloomberg database fields

Re: Can't fetch from DatastreamEDX

Since it appears to work most times but not always, it would imply a network/internet issue. We will reach out to Datastream developers and see if they have any thoughts.

Re: Eviews crashes when saving to excel

If rebooting doesn't fix the problem, try repairing your Excel installation. You can do so by following the below steps: Windows 10 Click on the Windows "start" icon (bottom-left corner of your screen). Click on "Settings". The "Windows Settings" window should appear. C...

Have you been able to save Excel files via EViews in the past?

Have you tried rebooting your machine?

Prior to fetching any data from Bloomberg, you must be logged into the Bloomberg Terminal app.

Are you logged in?

Re: Import Linux based table

That's really going to depend on the applications used to create the px files. Since they were from 2 different systems, I am going to presume the executable on the Linux machine is not the same the executable being using on the Windows machine and will therefore have different behavior. If you post...
