Message gotoing

Can there be a link so that when one opens a thread you jump to the first unread message?

Update

How about a forum to announce the presence of new updates? And would that be an easy way for someone to subscribe to email announcements when a new update is posted?

Display filter

It would be nice if the Workfile/View/Display filter dialog has an "All" or "Default" button to allow quick restoration.

smpl logic

In the commands

sample s1 if x>1
sample s2 if x>4
smpl s1 and s2

s2 has no effect. Is that right?

Most objects in EViews don't get deleted - they get changed. Would you want a back up of an equation every time you change the specification?

No, only when I explicitly delete.

Trash

It would be fun if deleted objects went into a trash bin instead of being immediately wiped.

Forum insertion point

If you click on one of the nifty buttons to put BBCode in the message body, the code is inserted at the end of text rather than at the current insertion point. Makes editing a pain.

According to http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/EViews

EViews stands for Electronic views as in the past it was based on the user using a workbook and calculator.

You can set up a system which includes the pricing kernel and the asset returns and then use the GMM command to estimate.
