Fitted series as seen on view of Actual, Fitted, Resid Table
Hi, Can I store the Fitted series that I can view on the Actual, Fitted, Residual Table? (The one you see when you open an equation, then click the View button, and choose Actual, Fitted, Residual Table.) I realize that it is equal to the dependent variable for that equation minus the residual for t...

Replicate Series Creation from Excel
I am migrating all data creation out of Excel and into Eviews, for increased speed and accuracy. Now, instead of copying and pasting from IHS data downloaded from the IHS site to a series of spreadsheets, I am extracting the series right out of the databanks as needed. (I love that!) So that a single column contains an Equation Result, then the Forecast Series, and then the Residuals Series below. These are forecasts and residual s...

Re: An introduction to EViews programming.
I'm sorry... I am trying to figure out how to write my program to run my estimation, without having to click through the windows: cointeg.... then store the results to an equation... then create a forecast from the equation... store that to a new variable I am stuck because I don't know what order t...

Re: An introduction to EViews programming.
I am new to Eviews and have programming experience in SAS and SQL, and I am stuck now. I am trying to simply estimate an equation, store the equation, and then create a forecast from that equation, and save it too. I have my data in a workfile ready to go, my estimation commands ready to go... I run...
