In most if not all Welcome threads for the forums: It seams like the link Posting Rules (http://eviews.com/phpBB2/posting_rules.htm) are broken. I end up at http://www.eviews.com/home.html when using it.

Thank you for pointing out the reference issue. In the main project there is two references, the first one is the EViews 9.0 Type Library and the second one is named EViewsOleDbProvider Type Library. I managed to remove the wrong one when making this test Sub. The license gets thru the register proc...

Within my organization we get the same response when importing data to Excel 2013 (Version: 14.0.6129.5000). We use EViews 8 (Enterprise Edition - Aug 27 2013 build). Workaround : After getting the error message, press the add-in's refresh button to import the data you asked for. Or... : Just don't ...
