Also, I found Tableau add-in for excel to do the trick of reshaping this wide data into long which can be easily imported into eviews.

I am a beginner, would it be possible if you could explain how to go about the code? I wrote it on the command bar and two var FIVEYEARS and MEANS were made. How to put the observation values in these?

I somehow managed to convert the BALANCED panel data into averages. Now I am only struggling with how to do the UNBALANCED.

I tried that first. But since its a panel data of 190 countries, I have to copy and transpose paste for every country one-by-one.
Is it still the easiest way possible?

I am working on a panel data and to proceed to Granger Causality test (between democracy and economic growth) I have to make sure that both are stationary. However, when I conduct the Unit Root test (ADF) for the Democracy data it drops 67 cross sections (3 for economic growth) out of the total of 1...
