options for an individual graph in a multiple graph

Dear Eviewers ,

one can set options for a single graph in a multiple graph manually by selecting the individual graph and invoking "Options for selected..." in the right-click menu.

Is there a way to access options for a single graph in a multiple graph in a program?

addarrow - labelpos option not working properly

Dear Eviews team, I use Eviews 9.5 Dec 2016 built It seems that the labelpos option of the addarrow command does not work properly The help page for addarrow says label adds a text label to the start point of the arrow. labelpos specifies whether the text should be above the line (vert) or next to t...

Re: importtbl/importmat: bug when importing a "one-cell range" from excel

I see your point, yes, this can also be considered as a feature of the procedures importtabl or importmat. Here a suggestion for future implementations: importmat(name=testmat, mode=overwrite) "MyExcelFile.xlsx" range="Sheet1!$C$9:$C$9" would yield a 1x1 matrix containing only th...

importtbl/importmat: bug when importing a "one-cell range" from excel

Dear Eviews team, I use Eviews 9.5, 27 December 16 build I found a bug when importing a range covering only one cell in an excel file into a matrix or a table. For instance, the command importtbl(name=testtable, mode=overwrite) "MyExcelFile.xlsx" range="Sheet1!$C$9:$C$9" imports ...

Label fields get lost when unstacking series

Dear Eviews team, I use Eviews 9.5 Dec 2016 build I found that the label fields get of a series in a panel structure gets lost when unstacking the series I am not sure, but assuming that the maximum amount of information should be retained in the process of unstacking, I would consider this a bug Se...

Equation view ommitted-variable-test: mistake in the reporting

Dear Eviews team, I use Eviews 9.5 Dec 2016 built. There is a mistake in the reporting of the equation view for the omitted variable test. Let X be the variable to be tested for omission. The report view would say: Null hypothesis: X are jointly significant But it should be: Null hypothesis: X are n...

setattr-procedure with samples

Dear Eviews team, I am using Eviews 9.5, December 2016 built. It seems that defining new attributes using the "setattr" procedure in a program does not work with sample objects (see example below). (However, it is possible to define new attributes with sample objects manually.) Is this a b...

Dear EVIEWS team, I use EVIEWS 9.5 Dec 2016 built EViews allows displaying the contents of a table, graph, or spool object in the window of another object by having a line with "_this.display" in the respective add-in. Let us assume the user-defined addin "myaddin" registered wit...

Dear Eviews team I use Eviews Version 9.5 For future versions of Eviews, I would you like to consider the following improvements to facilitate working with samples in a program. command "smplshift(s1,n1[,n2])" s1: Sample n1, n2: Integers This would shift the lower (upper) time limit of a s...

How to make series disappear from a graph?

Dear Eviews team occasionally, one may want the make a series disappear from a graph (e.g., you may just graph the whole of a given matrix and subsequently "switch of" one or several columns). So, when trying something like a) graph.setelem(1) linepattern(none) symbol(none) or b) graph.set...

Re: Programming: bug in compareson with empty strings

Sorry for coming back on this; it may appear a bit nitty-gritty, but it may be helpful to point to users that the safe approach to comparing a string with an empty string consists of making use of the functions @isempty(), or @equna(). Strictly spoken, your reply applies to comparisons with alpha se...
