Re: Unit Root test with two structural breaks
Looking to do a LM Test for unit roots. Appears this old post never got an answer. Can one of you eviews experts help us out?

constraints
Using the model object, how would you place constraints on your endogenous variables forecast? For example, the endogenous variables are market shares of substitute goods. I want to insure that the summation of the endogenous variables equal one. Please note the constraint does not necessarily need ...

Lagged dependant variable (LDV) and AR
As we all know estimating an equation with LDV and AR using OLS will cause biased and inconsistent estimates of the parameters and inconsistent estimates of the error term and standard errors. I was train to use a modified Cochrane-Orcutt procedure to estimate an equation with LDV and AR to obtain u...

Another @nan question
I have created my historic weather series with daily information over a period of 42 years. Scatter randomly throughout the series are N/A values, after some thought I have decided to replace N/A with the previously known value within the series. Is there any way to do this with an EVIEWS function? ...

Re: @nan function
Gareth is correct, but given where you are at the moment, if I understand the exercise correctly, the @RMEAN (or @RSUM) function should do what you want... Suppose we have the two series X1 and X2 where we have X1 X2 ------- 1 NA 2 NA NA 3 NA 4 NA NA Form a group containing the two series group all...

Re: @nan function
Thank you Startz.
Unfortunately, some values need to remain N/A. In a specific year, one or two days of data might be missing. Is there another method to merge the series? I have been use @nan over and over. It gets the job done but it is time consuming.

A daily variable is available in excel format for each year; in other words one spreadsheet per year. Time period is from 1967-2008. I created a workfile with this range and created a series for each year that has observed values for that year and N/A for every other observation. I would now like to...

Re: Looking for Graphing help
I gave that a try but was not to please with the results. So I just am going to leave it as a line graph for the moment. The stack 100% bar graph I ended up just manipulated the series and then redoing the graph and setting the axis. But I think it should be a graphic option. It is a pretty common g...

Looking for Graphing help
Trying to create graphs that will be a little more informative then the normal options. In regards to stacked bar graphs. Is there an option or command in eviews to automatically stack them and evaluated them to 100% (to show each items share of the total)? Or do I have to manipulate the series them...
