Re: Attaching / Modifying Variables' labels in a Worfile

In EV9 (or earlier) you can't do much.

In EV10 you can do something like:

Code: Select all

%a = "Edited by " + @runname
x.setattr("remarks") {%a}

Re: Creating New Series using conditional

You're declaring it as an alpha (which contains strings) and setting it equal to a number.

Either use series instead of alpha, or change the values to be strings (with the @str function).

Re: Descriptive Statistics by Date (hour)

No need to feel dumb - a lot of users don't know about that nifty feature. And your question was better structured/explained than most!

Re: Descriptive Statistics by Date (hour)

Depends on how the data are structured.

If you're in an hourly workfile, you could open the series and click on View->Descriptive Statistics->Stats by Classification and enter "@hour" as the classifying variable.

Re: VAR Forecasting with predetermined time series

Create a series containing the actual historical values and the predetermined future values and call that series Y_1 where Y is the name of the original series (so GDP would become GDP_1 etc...). From the VAR click on Proc->Make Model. From the Model click the Scenarios button and change the scenari...

Re: Coca cola demand forecast (models)

Before delving too deeply into this, I'll point out a couple of things. First you might want to structure your workfile as a dated workfile. Going on the information you gave (it starts in 2014, the series "mes" is month, and "salida_del_mes" is day of the month), you can use the...

Re: Add factors

Built in, I think you might be out of luck, since, as you say, solve target only handles a single target at a time.

The Mcontrol add-in might be what you need.
