Re: Running the same regression with different dependent and indepedent variables

Is there a reason for the triple loop? If you only want something to happen when i=j=t, then why not just have one loop? series year = @year !minyear = @min(year) series monthnum = @month + 12*(year-!minyear) !nummonths = @max(monthnum) matrix(3,48) coefs equation eq for !k=1 to !nummonths smpl if m...

Re: Model is randomly solved...?

The first code is doing a static solve (since that it what the model's current default is).

The second code explicitly instructs to do a dynamic solve.

They're completely different processes, so it is not surprising that one works and one doesn't.

Re: Matrix Error in a Fetch?

Weird. That's a very out of date EV9, but it is odd. I think we'd need a copy of the database.

Re: Matrix Error in a Fetch?

Sounds like you have a copy of EViews where the error codes are messed up. What is the build date of your copy (Help->About EViews)

Re: output variable names in groups

Most of the context of your question doesn't make sense, but in a basic sense, you can ask a group for the names of its members with:

Code: Select all

group.@members

Re: series omitted when storing to Aremos database

After some investigation, it looks like this is an issue with the Aremos API that we use to read/write Aremos files.

Unfortunately, as I'm sure you're aware, Aremos is an old, no longer supported product, so there isn't a way for us to fix the issue, or ask the Aremos team to do so.
