Re: Three bugs in one

A. That error is meant to inform you that the title you added to the residual graph in the equation window (prior to freezing) will be lost. This should appear when the view on the equation has been changed or if the equation is closed. Of course this doesn't happen when I try to replicate the issue...

We no longer issue CDs. Everything is done via downloads.

Send an email to support@eviews.com and we can send you the information.

Re: Live stat - percentage change

Unfortunately our spreadsheets do not support non-sequential selections. You will have to continue manually performing the calculation.

Re: addarrow - labelpos option not working properly

That is by design. For horizontal arrows, 'vert' is ambiguous. Use 'A' or 'B'. And for vertical arrows use 'L' or 'R'. wfcreate a 2000 2010 series x=nrnd graph mygr.line x mygr.addarrow pos(0,3.4, 0.5, 3.4) label(Vert) labelpos(A) mygr.addarrow pos(2,3.4, 2.5, 3.4) label(Horz) labelpos(B) show mygr

Re: Smpl - series

The settings in the global options dialog determine how new series are opened.

If you already have a preexisting series use the SMPL+/- button in the series button bar. This will toggle the view to use/not use the sample.

Re: Macrobond - importing labels

Just to be clear, you can specify the frequency conversion method to be used during the fetch using the 'c=' option. See http://www.eviews.com/help/helpintro.html#page/content%2Fcommandcmd-fetch.html for more details. This will change values of the series in the workfile. If you change the frequency...

Re: bottom scale not adjusting

Assuming your bottom axis is the date axis, it is behaving correctly. The min and max values specified on that page regardless of the axis (top, left, bottom, right) are only applicable to data axes and not date axes. To change the date axis for non-frozen graphs you will have to use the graph slide...

Re: blewey yet again

The problem is in entering a value less than 1. We will stop the crash from occurring as well force users to only enter positive integers.

Re: series used in a graph object embedded inside an spool object

Unfortunately not. The copy of the graph added to the spool is disconnected from the series and that information is no longer available. As a workaround (and not a good one at that), you could eyeball the legend for series names. The problems with this approach are 1)there isn't a programmatic way t...
