Hi,
In the attached workfile, when I try to estimate the system "EZ" by GMM I receive the error message "No valid observations in equation". Could somebody please explain what exactly this means and how I can resolve it? Any assistance is well appreciated!

GMM error: "log of a non positive number"
Hi, I am trying to estimate Euler equations by GMM and I receive the error message "log of a non positive number". Does anybody know how to resolve this? I've attached the workfile. Any help is seriously appreciated!

Thank you. When I make these changes and run the program I get an error message: 'missing values in @logl series'. Any tips?

Yes, there is actually. I strongly agree with you that such recursive estimations lead to false or inconsistent results and joint estimation methods should be preferred where possible. You can build a multivariate garch in mean framework in EViews and estimate it easily with LogL object. Besides, y...
