Thanks for your reply! Indeed, according to my colleagues at the IT-desk I am using a 64bit Matlab. I will ask them to install a 32bit version.

I would like to know if (and how) an error bar graph with a non-equidistant scale for the x-axis can be created using EViews 7 (or equivalently, a scatter plot with error bars). Thanks!
