Capital Ø instead of ø, in attribute

Hi

The command

Code: Select all

.setattr("Skjøting")

yields a capital Ø instead of ø, see picture below

Re: Splicing Old and Revised Data

Hi

This should be built in as an option in the copy command, say

Code: Select all

copy(m, splice) a b

Re: copy all series

excellent, good idea. but can this command be used with an "overwrite" option so that if the page annual already exists, the code

Code: Select all

pagecopy(page=annual, overwrite, dataonly) *

will overwrite the page annual, and not create a new page called annual1.

copy all series

Hi

Is there a way to copy all series from one page to another with one command line, for example

Code: Select all

copy(series) * ka\*

instead of using the commands:

Code: Select all

   %allseries=@wflookup("*","series")
   for %s {%allseries}
      copy {%s} ka\{%s}
   next

Never ending successful pass

Hi
What does it mean when you get the message "Pass successful"?

When pressing the solve button, the models begins to simulate and just reports successful passes, without ending. It is very strange...

Click-based model simulation and scenario analysis

Hi It would be great if you could implement a click-based way of doing scenario analysis in EViews, following the lines of how the Globale Link Model is simulated: GLM.PNG You can do something similar in R, through the use of Shiny, see R.PNG https://shiny.rstudio.com/gallery/retirement-simulation.h...

Moving statistics functions in models

Hi

It would be great if moving statistics functions could be included in models, see

One click view of Equation

makegraph - option r

Hi

I just noticed that the option r is not in the manual for the makegraph option, i.e., to calculate %deviation Active from Compare, which can be done using the command

Code: Select all

_m.makegraph(n, r) gr @endog

scenario command - desc option

Hi I am having trouble with understanding the DESC option in the SCENARIO command. Running the code: wfcreate u 100 genr x=50+0.03*@trend+2*nrnd genr log(y)=3*log(x)+nrnd model _m _m.append 0*x+log(y)=3*log(x) _m.scenario(n,a="_1") "scenario 2" works fine. However, If you replace...

Re: Add factors

that is strange,

do you get an error if you run the command

Code: Select all

   _m.addinit(v=n) @all

on the attached workfile? In this case the model is: 0 * x + log(y) = 3 * log(x).

When I run it, I get:
