Eviews crashed - ardl object

Hi Eviews crashes when I try to look at the "long run form and bounds test" of the ARDL function equation _pbol.ardl log(pbol/pc) log((rd300-ram300)/pc) log(k83) log(bg300/pc) ((1+4*renpf300*(1-trtmnw)))/(pc/pc(-4)+0.03) I think it is caused by the dependant variable holding the "/&qu...

Fetch series definition

Hi

I have a series that is generated as

Code: Select all

genr renbif=1/2*(renbif_ssb+renbif_ssb(-1) )

This is shown in the series field.

.

How can I, using code, retrieve the definition of the series as a string equal to %definition="renbif=1/2*(renbif_ssb+renbif_ssb(-1)"?

Re: Eviews - list of features to include

Hi

regarding importing data directly through APIs in Jason-Stat format. Now there is an easy way to do this in EXCEL for data from e.g. Eurostat, see https://stat.qumio.com/.

Maybe this can inspire the Eviews team to build such import functionality into Eviews as well.....?

genr y=x, where y is rounded to 1 decimal place

Hi I have a series with more than 1 decimal place, say x=(3.1432, 4.6632) Now I want to create a series that is the series x rounded to one decimal place, i.e. y=(3.1 , 4.7) What is the best way of creating such a series? Can it be done with the genr command in an easy way? Thomas
