Dependencies using commands?

Hi It is a really nice feature that one can identify dependencies in the model object, dependancy.PNG The down dependencies I have managed to find using the SPEC command, however, is there a way to identify the UP-tree using commands, i.e. the endogenous variables that depend on the reference variab...

Re: Dated data table - Letter disappears when saving to pdf-document

Hi Gareth Thanks for your response. The PDF writer I was referring to is the one that is built into Windows 10 (https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/windows_10-hardware/how-to-add-or-reinstall-the-microsoft-pdf-printer/70377c34-e50a-42be-b9f3-92345d6e25df). Given that EViews cannot hand...

Re: Dated data table - Letter disappears when saving to pdf-document

Hi I have a table I would like to print to PDF using commands, see picture below. However, since the table contains Norwegian vowels, I cannot use the built-in EViews pdf maker. I have to use a PDF-printer. There must be a way of using the SHELL command to save a table in eviews using the MICROSOFT ...

@iif

Hi Why is the code below generating an error? I thought the @iif command only does the calculation if a is not equal to 0...? I have been inspired by the code in forum post http://forums.eviews.com/viewtopic.php?f=5&t=10303&p=36003&hilit=splice#p36003. However, many of my "a"-s...

String dates: the last day of x-quarters ahead

Hi How can i get the string date for the last day of x-quarters ahead, i.e. when x=1: I want the string: "30/06/2019" (the last day of the second quarter, i.e x= 1 quarter ahead) x=2: I want the string: "30/09/2019" (the last day of the third quarter, i.e. x= 2 quarters ahead) et...

@strdate

Hi I want to create a string with a date format corresponding to each element in workfile. The @strdate command works fine on a quarterly page, but I cannot make it work on a weekly or monthly page....? That is pageselect q alpha date=@strdate("DD.MM.YYYY") works, but pageselect m alpha da...

Remove add-ins using code

Hi

It would be nice if one could remove all or some add-ins using code. If I understand it correctly, one must do this manually by clicking now.

For example

Code: Select all

addinremove(@all)
addinremove mcontrol

Can you please add this command?

Make window for active scenario wider

Hi

can you make it so that the window where you choose the active scenario can show more of the scenario names, i.e. make it wider? as it is now, scenario names can not be very long before they are not displayed, see picture below

@active

Hi the option @active to specify the active scenario needs different handling when used in a program and in the command field, e.g. model.@varlist(@active) works in the command field, but model.@varlist("@active") (with quotes) must be used in a program. Should it not be the same code both...
