Re: Bloomberg Missing Data
Although it's true that the chart in Bloomberg shows all the quarterly data points, when retrieving the data in Excel via BDH there are missing points. Below is what I get and it is consistent with the quarters missed by Eviews. This suggests that it is a Bloomberg problem or that BDH is not the bes...

Re: Count the number of NAs on a series period
Thanks Gareth, this is great. What I want to do is fill in NA values in a series with the previous non-NA value as long as there isn't a block of NAs ahead that is greater to a given threshold (in the case below =10). This is what I come up with, but maybe there is a faster way you could suggest? ge...

Count the number of NAs on a series period
Hi, I want to create a series which counts the number of NAs until the next non-NA series value. How can I do this? Thanks For example: Series Counter 2 0 4 0 5 0 8 0 na 3 na 2 na 1 9 0 10 0 na 3 na 2 na 1 12 0

Re: logmsg in addin
Unfortunately I've tried the options in the help section of "logmode" but none of the combinations seem to work.

Proper series name
Hello,
I can't find/remember the name of the function that makes proper Eviews series names out of strings, such as from string "O'Hara-Smith" something like "o_hara_smith". Can you please remind it to me?
Thanks
Javier

workfile list
Hello,
Is there a way way of obtaining a string with the list of all workfiles open in a EV session? Such as @wlookup() for objects in a wf or @wdir() for files in a directory?
Thanks

Re: Creating an aggregate of single time series components
Hi Gareth, I find this question interesting as well. Assuming that an additional ID is what is needed, how would you go about adding it? I could think about a way through unstacking the panel that seems too involved.

wfclose
Hello, Could it not be possible to allow wfclose to close a specific workfile (which applies if there are multiple ones opened) rather than the most recently active? Say I have WF1 and WF2 workfiles opened, If I am in WF1 and I want to close WF2 and remain in WF1 I have to write: wfselect WF2 wfclos...
