XML SDMX read

Hi, is it possible to read a SDMX XML page like this one in Eviews?
http://www.pbs.gov.pk/sites/default/files/nsdp/CPI.xml

Thanks

Re: logmsg in addin

Unfortunately I've tried the options in the help section of "logmode" but none of the combinations seem to work.

Proper series name

Hello,

I can't find/remember the name of the function that makes proper Eviews series names out of strings, such as from string "O'Hara-Smith" something like "o_hara_smith". Can you please remind it to me?

Thanks

workfile list

Hello,

Is there a way way of obtaining a string with the list of all workfiles open in a EV session? Such as @wlookup() for objects in a wf or @wdir() for files in a directory?

Thanks

Re: Creating an aggregate of single time series components

Hi Gareth, I find this question interesting as well. Assuming that an additional ID is what is needed, how would you go about adding it? I could think about a way through unstacking the panel that seems too involved.

wfclose

Hello, Could it not be possible to allow wfclose to close a specific workfile (which applies if there are multiple ones opened) rather than the most recently active? Say I have WF1 and WF2 workfiles opened, If I am in WF1 and I want to close WF2 and remain in WF1 I have to write: wfselect WF2 wfclos...

Retrieving file date

Hello,

Is it possible to retrieve the date a file was last saved (without opening it)? I believe this is not the case and it could be quite useful to have a function to that effect.

Regards,

Re: Graph scale range formula

It is a pity that this functionality is not available. One of the possible uses is when you want to convert the dimensions [date,y-axis] of a chart to virtual pixels in order to assign text to a data point in a chart (say at the peak value of the NASDAQ add a text that says "peak") one can...

Re: graph.makegroup

OK thanks. When you say the "patch notes had the syntax" which notes do you refer to?

graph.makegroup

Hello

The latest patch has the command graph.makegroup but what is this supposed to do? Is the help documentation updated with the batch? If so I can't find it.

Thanks,

Alpha to string

Hello,

Is it possible to create a string with the values of an alpha without having to do a loop through the elements of the alpha?

Thanks,

Javier
