Hi trubador
and thx for the reply! Although...I can't read anything there about how to compute the forecasts standard errors, i.e. the confidence bands around the forecasts, am I missing something?

AR1 forecasts variability?
Hi everyone!
Does any one know how to compute manually the forecasts standard errors for an AR1 model?
I mean, Eviews does provide the series but when I try to replicate it manually I seem to always underestimate the values...
Many thank*

Spool graphic defaults
Dear all, I have some questions on spool objects in Eviews 7.2, I hope you can help me: 1/For some reason when I print graphs in the spool they always turn out as monochrome, do u know how could I change that? 2/ is there a program line I could use to merge all the graphs I have in a spool (which ar...

Thanks so much!
(ps. consider adding these sets of commands to the Command REF, not sure they are there yet)

Hi!
is there something like mytable.addrow(1) ?
I am desperately in need of it!

Re: EqTabs (Equation summaries)
Sure I can, sorry! I want to create a stacked table summarizing the results of 5 equations, each of which has 3 explanatory variables...nevertheless by using the add-in, the stacked table I get reports the coefficient for the first explanatory variable only, neglecting the remaning two. Is it cleare...

Re: EqTabs (Equation summaries)
Sorry 4 posting with delay about this but why does the add-in not include all the independent variables in the equations but just the first one? is it only happening for me? I have re-installed the add-in just today but I don't seem to get any improvement on this
Thanks
Thanks

Re: ARMA model with implicit dependent variable
Ok....
But then why this thread:
viewtopic.php?f=7&t=465 (in particular the final paragraph)
says something different regarding the forecasts from an arma model?
there it seems that the ma part also has to be taken into account while in your code it doesn't....

Re: ARMA model with implicit dependent variable
Thanks for the prompt reply! :) Anyway, what actually works in this simple specification with an exogenous variable x does not apply (at least for me) when I have a pure arma specification and no exogenous terms.... would you mind writing a similar example with equation eq1.ls d(y) c ar(1) ma(1) ins...

ARMA model with implicit dependent variable
Hi all, these days I am working with an ARIMA(12,1,2) model, which I estimated with an implicit dependent variable D(r), so my equation looks like: equation e1.ls D(R) AR(1) AR(2) AR(3) AR(4) AR(5) AR(7) AR(9) AR(10) AR(12) MA(1) MA(2) A new feature of eviews 7 seems to be that it's directly possibl...

date/time display on tables
Hi All,
just a very simple question: is there a way to tell Eviews not to print date/time on the estimated equations outputs or on any other table object?
Thanks

Re: Eviews 7 crashes when forecasting from state-space
Dear Glenn
Of course I will handle the error myself but still it is good that u could put a fix into the crash itself...
it is difficult to correct errors if eviews gets stuck and I need to reboot every time!
Thank you very much,
