Thanks.
It's odd, though. I can access the Datastream service via Excel with no problem. It's only Eviews that tends to have an issue. It only really happens after I've fetched a lot of data. But even then, I can still fetch via Excel. Odd...

Can't fetch from DatastreamEDX
Having some issues trying to fetch data from a DatastreamEDX library. 80% of the time, the below works flawlessly. But on some occasions, usually on days where I have already fetched a lot of data from the database, it fails. I've already check with Datastream that I've not run over the monthly usag...

Eviews 12 instantly crashing
Hi,
My copy of Eviews 12, running on an Azure Virtual Desktop, has suddenly started to crash immediately upon opening.
I see the splash screen, then it crashes.
No sign of any processes running in task manager. And no warnings / logs in event viewer.
Odd...
Anyone have a fix?

Thanks. Is there a way to increase the size of the labels above each bar?

Categorical graph by observsation?
Hi,
I'm trying to draw a graph like the below. I have 3 or 4 time series objects, and want to draw a bar graph using the last two observations.
I've tried categorical graphs, but I can't quite seem to get there...
Thanks

Datastream "logged out" everyday
Hi,
I have Eviews 10 and currently connect to the Datastream Online Database.
But every day when i open up Eviews it asks me to input my Datastream credentials again. Is there a way to save them somehow, because it prevents programmes from running automatically.
Thanks
Ben

Re: .displayname for transformed series
Unfortunately not. Of course you can always overwrite the legend of the graph to be whatever you want. http://www.eviews.com/help/helpintro.html#page/content%2Fgraphcmd-setelem.html%23ww175617 Ah ok. That could work. Is there a way to automate it such that if the series transformation "@PCY(TO...

.displayname for transformed series
I have a series "TOTALSA" which i have given the displayname "vehicle_sales". However, when i plot transformations of that series, my graph does not show the appropriate displayname (it shows "@pcy(totalsa)") (see chart attached). Any way to have transformations take th...
