Dynamically Stable ARDL

Hi, I have an ARDL model(1,2,3). How can I test whether it is dynamically stable and the inverse roots are inside the unit circle? Prof. David Giles suggested a trick to do so in Eviews a simple AR model. However, my model has independent variables with their own lag. Is it correct to run the model ...

How to interpret the three ADF specification equations?

Hi everyone, I have tested gdp gap for stationarity using ADF test (non, and with only intercept). However, it has a unit root when accounting for trend and intercept. Does that means it is I(0) or (0)? Should I consider differentiating it? On the same note, is differentiating the sole method to sol...

Re: Help required with a program on simulation!

No, the file is called data. But I'm guessing, I should try to enter only the folder path!

Re: Help required with a program on simulation!

That's right! I meant the error after running the program. The path seems to be not found, even though the data are in excel format. I even prepared the data in Eviews database format, nevertheless, still getting the same message!

Re: Help required with a program on simulation!

Mind you, this is my first encounter with programming. The program is already written by someone else. So I started by entering the new data path, in the program, but it appears red and show that the path could not be found. Is it because of the format?

Help required with a program on simulation!

Greeting community, I am new to programming in Eviews. Recently someone has sent me a program to use with my own set of data. However, the struggle began at the very first line. Whatever data path I enter, there's always an error. Could it be the format of the data of so? Also, the data used in that...
