Hello,
I have a model with a qualitative dummy variable, and I simply want to run a regression including only all observations where the dummy is 1, excluding all where it is 0, since running a regression with all observations did not make me much wiser.

what is the command to calculate the n-th root of something, e.g. a series?
I'm attending Eviews classes at university, but unfortunately we only made it to the square root yet.

I'm a greenhorn with Eviews and my questions will be quite basic, I guess. Anyway, I want to do a simple bivariate cross-section regression, but I'm already stuck at the very beginning.
