Re: Impulse response with BVAR
Hi all! I successfully estimate a BVAR with about 15 variables à lá Giannone et all. Through Luvsannyam's LBVAR add-in, we have automated confidence intervals, but with EV's feature, I'm unable to get them (light grey for confidence intervals, as per image attached). Any hint? Tks a lot! Fabio PS. T...

Hey there! And what if I have two different 'custom' delimiters: "T" (yes, the letter "T"), and ":"? HTML/JSON files...

Re: failed to initialize EViewsPyConn
Hi Steve and EV team: Problem returned: "Failed to initialize EViewsPyConn. Python dll path is missing." My version is EV13, Jan 8 2024 update (I think it is the last available). Python 3.12 64bits. I've already tried using 'regcomponents' without success. Tks in advance for any help. Best...

Re: Importing data from .csv files, prompt and matched dates
It worked :) I (think I) figured out what was going on. It works if the import process happens as an irregular file. So... I Need to regularize after. The series I get is mostly 5 (trading) days/week, but sometimes we have 7 days/week with empty cells, and some days with 5d/week with NA... So... The...

Re: Importing data from .csv files, prompt and matched dates
So weird. I'm using EV13, 8 Jan build, which is the latest update, as per what I noticed. I keep getting a prompt as per the screenshot below :( I'm trying to figure out what is happening, too.

Importing data from .csv files, prompt and matched dates
Hi there, EV team! A question about the "import" command. I'm trying to import a CSV file. Through visual clicks I managed well to import the data and asking the EV to read data and match dates in a d7 frequency. However, when I do it through a .prg file, I continue to receive the prompt a...

Re: failed to initialize EViewsPyConn
For earlier versions, all good. Using Version: 3.11.2. For 3.12, no connection.

Re: failed to initialize EViewsPyConn
Hey, there! Same issues here, but under EV13 Enterprise (build Nov 28, 2023). My Python is the latest one, 3.12, x64. Meanwhile I will try to install an earlier version. Best, Fabio. Failed to initialize EViewsPyConn. Could not find the following Python DLL methods and elements: PyUnicode_AsUnicode ...

Re: Large Bayesian VAR
Hey there! Anyone here succeeded in running this add-in through EV12-EV13? I got several 'encrypted program'. In particular, 'error 6', or 'error 500'. I only managed to run .prgs provided as examples inside the add-in folder. Thanks!

Re: SRVAR & EViews 13
A post-script... Apparently I can run anything if I estimate through .prg. It goes bad if I try to use command prompt and/or visual buttons/commands.

Re: SRVAR & EViews 13
Great to see it updated. The examples run nicely in both EV12 (my work) and in EV13 (personal PC). However, I can smoothly only the two examples you give (based on Uhlig seminal paper, based on both penalties/draws). For my personal data (Brazil REER, financial and macro variables), I can run only i...
