outliers in a scatterplot

Hello, I want to graph a scatter plot with a regression line. The graph should show all the data I have but the regression line should be calculated with a subgroup of the data without outliers. More specifically I want to remove the financial crisis years 2008 and 2009 of the data for the regressio...

defining equations in a system object

Hello: I have a Model object with several equations (that came from separate Equation objects) and a few identities. Is there a way to transform this object into a system so that I can estimate it as a whole or do I have to write each equation separately with the appropriate coefficients? Thanks in ...

Re: Graph in a Spool issue

I will take some time for me to get the latest patch since it needs to go through some bureaucratic channels. In the meantime, regarding the “gr2” in the spool, I do have several other graphs appended to the spool and they all seem to be losing their specific configuration once appended. Moreover, i...

Graph in a Spool issue

Hello: I have created a graph merging several other graphs, then I align it and insert some text and everything looks ok. The problem is that when I add it to a Spool it loses its spacing and general configuration. How can I fix this issue, here is my code: graph gr1.merge g1 g2 g3 g4 gr1.align(5,0....

Re: objects not found in database

hello.

I can't do that because it's blocked by the admin. However I checked "about Eviews" and it says I am running the Jun 8 2015 build Eviews 9 64-bit. Does that help?

Re: objects not found in database

to clarify: I run the following code on the database. fetch(d=T) * Then an error message pops up saying that it cannot find the objects I deleted. I don't want the objects to be in the database that is why I deleted them, however the fetch function is still looking for them. That is the problem I ha...

objects not found in database

Hello: I created an Eviews database from a workfile and, later on, deleted a few objects in the database directly. Now if I fetch all the objects from that database to a workfile, it tells me the deleted objects were not found. How do I fix this error, the objects are not there for a reason. Thanks ...

Graph with different colors

Hello:

I need to create a graph where the observed data is one color and the forecasted time periods are another. It has to be a bar or a line graph. I don't seem to find any easy way to do this. Could you please give me some help?

Thanks in advance

x12 composite seasonal adjustment

Hello: Im trying to adjust some series seasonally with an user provided spec file. However I can't find a way to replicate the results of a composite spec adjustment using Eviews 8. The manual clearly states: the specification file should have neither a series spec nor a composite spec. If I remove ...

Re: Excluding Endogenous Variables

Thanks! Yes, in this case they are also endogenous. To clarify my question, when the model solves the values for the components will it solve them in such a way that the identity of Total Consumption holds? In other words, if I sum the values of the solved components will I get the Total Consumption...

Excluding Endogenous Variables

Hello: I have a demand and supply model with several equations and I would like to know what happens when I exclude an endogenous variable that is an identity that aggregates components. For example: Total Consumption = componentA+componentB+componentC All the components are categorized as simultane...
