Test of Eviews12 server version
Hi, in collaboration with our national Eviews distributor we'd like to perform a test of the server version of Eviews 12, in order to evaluate a possible switching of the licenses from the current situation, where we have only Eviews running on clients. I wonder if there's some documentation that I ...

Windows 10 and Office 365 compliance
Hi, we're upgrading our client workstations to Windows 10 20.H2 and Microsoft Office 365. I wonder if you can provide a formal document stating the Eviews compliance to these versions of Windows and Office or, if such certifcation is not available, an informal answer to this post that I can share wi...

Re: Problem installing Eviews 9
We've solved the problem formatting the system partition and reinstalling Windows 7 on the machine.
Now the Eviews installer works perfectly.
Thank you for your help.

Re: Problem installing Eviews 9
The machine is a new one, so Eviews wasn't previously installed on it. Yes, I downloaded the latest version of the installers. I'm quite sure that the installers are ok, cause I've used them without problems for other installations of Eviews on new machines. Do you think that the error during the in...

Re: Problem installing Eviews 9
It doesn't work.
I get the same error if I run the installer as administrator.
I guess the problem could be related to some specific issue of the Win 7 environment.

Problem installing Eviews 9
I'd need your support for an installation of Eviews 9 on a machine running Win 7 Enterprise 64 bit. I run the installer as administrator. The installation stops after the extraction of the package with this error: "One or more installer files are missing! Unable to proceed with install." T...

Okay, it's clear. I'll use integers for the control variable.
Thank you Gareth.

FOR Loops with different formats for control variable
Hello, could you please help me to understand why Eviews has a different behaviour running for-next loops if I use different numeric formats for the control variable (i.e. the scalar that guides the loop iterations)? For example, If I run the following program I get different result for scalars STES...

Eviews 9 crash
Hello, using Eviews 9 (64-bit version) we get a crash trying to show a group of variables of a model. For example this happens if we open a model object, select two or more variables from the Variables tab and then choose Proc-Make Group/Table... Clicking OK on the user dialog Eviews crashes. I atta...

Re: Eviews 9 Help - Quick Help Reference
First of all thank you very much for the hints. Actually if I click on Help/Quick help Reference the help window doesn't appear, nothing happens. I run Eviews locally from my C drive. The help file EViews9Help.chm is correctly installed in the Eviews 9 folder and appears normally if I double-click i...

Eviews 9 Help - Quick Help Reference
Hello, we've just installed Eviews 9 (64-bit version), included June 8th patch, and the Quick Help Reference is not working from the GUI. Clicking on Help menu and selecting Quick Help Reference we don't get any window (I think Eviews should open the Microsoft HTML guide window). This issue occurs o...
